Steven is a highly skilled lawyer with over 10 years of experience working in child protection. Steven specialises in child safety investigations, including investigations under Reportable Conduct Schemes.
Steven commenced his legal career in civil litigation, regularly appearing in VCAT, Magistrate’s Court, Country Court and Supreme Court in complex cases. While working in child protection he appeared primarily in Children’s Court matters across Victoria.
Steven prides himself on personalised, honest and friendly legal services. He believes it is of the utmost importance that clients feel comfortable approaching him with any questions or concerns, and they feel well-informed of rights and responsibilities. Steven is passionate about protecting the rights and safety children and young people and promoting their best interests.
Why do you work at Safe Space Legal?
Safe Space Legal was a natural choice in extending my pursuit in protecting children and young people from harm. The focus on preventing harm from occurring where possible and supporting organisations in achieving this goal intrinsically aligns with my values.
Fun fact/outside interests
Outside of work, Steven loves spending time with his wife, two girls and toy cavoodle.
